Ask any of his patients and they will tell you that Dr. Smith is patient, sincere, and dedicated to helping you achieve your best possible smile. Imagine a doctor who takes time to explain your options, answer all of your questions, and has your wellbeing as his top priority.
Dr. Smith grew up only a few miles from the office, graduating with honors from Bella Vista High School, where he was a three-sport athlete and varsity team captain. He went on to UC Santa Barbara, where he was an Honor student, earning a degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in only three years.
Dr. Smith is fortunate to have been practicing dentistry since 2008. He earned his doctorate and completed advanced residency training at UCLA, where he also taught students and residents for over ten years. He has received many professional accolades and is board-certified in General Dentistry, an achievement equalled by fewer than 1% of all dentists nationwide. Dr. Smith continues to stay at the top of his game. He completes over 150 hours of continuing education every year, teaches courses for other dentists, and has published several scientific articles. He continues to learn so he can provide you with the best, most comfortable dental care possible.

Natalie McCrackin, DDS

Granite Bay Dentistry is proud to welcome Dr. Natalie McCrackin to our team. An area native and St. Francis grad, Dr. McCrackin earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco. She then completed a General Practice Residency at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, where she gained advanced training in comprehensive dental care.
Dr. McCrackin brings a wealth of experience from private practice on both coasts. She has practiced in the San Francisco Bay Area, New York City, and Los Angeles, where she worked alongside some of the country’s leading cosmetic dentists. Her clinical experience spans general and restorative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and laser dental treatments.
What sets Dr. McCrackin apart is her chairside manner. Patients consistently describe her as warm, gentle, and genuinely engaged in their care. She understands that many people feel anxious about dental visits, and she works hard to make every appointment a comfortable, low-stress experience — for patients of all ages.
Dr. McCrackin is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Sacramento District Dental Society and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
